A place to discuss this event.
A small 67 acre lake, should be very challenging.
Has a reputation as a hard lake to fish, but no shortage of quality panfish for those that can figure them out.

A few words about this lake, as said on the PA fish and boat commission page, the listed fish are plentiful in the lake, also trout are stocked into the lake around the time of the tournament. Should be a good time, and I hope to make this event. All I need are the specifics for signup, etc. Byron, can you let me know . Thanks

This is a copy/paste of whats listed under the registration thread in the Tournament info section. And don't feel like you missed it.......
We will begin accepting entry forms on November 1st for the upcoming season. Applications will be taken until a full field of 75 entrants is reached, or until the end of the rules meeting which is held the day prior to the tournament.
Cutoff for registration will be one week prior to the tournament. After that date, entries will be accepted up until the rules meeting the day before the tournament, however a $25.00 late registration fee will apply.
Registration forms will be available on-line beginning in early October.

Time to start preparing for the tourns. I not too familiar with this area so looking for sugesstions for inexpensive lodging and some places to have dinner ect.

Well, there's a reason they call it God's country, great scenery and wonderful people.
Spent the day up there today, just looking around.
Will be posting some good info on lodging, directions, rules meeting location and such on Monday.
Oh yea, the lake looked sweet too, one guy there trout fishing, he seemed to think a panfish tournament was sort of silly..........

Silly? Oh boy. No they are great. Nothing like the action of panfish through the ice.

The lodging and registration location for Beechwood lake has been updated.
We will be staying and meeting at the Coach Stop Inn. Contact information can be found in the first post of this thread.
It's a nice place, operated by nice people, with a restaurant and bar and they are offering rooms during the tournament to participants for $60.00 a night.
The inn is about 15 miles from the lake, to get to Beechwood Lake from the inn:
Turn Right on 6 West, go 6 miles.
Turn Right on 349 North, go 8.5 miles
Turn Right on Beechwood Road, go 5o yards ( at this time the street sign is missing, we'll put up an IFPA sign )
Turn slight right to stay on Beechwood Road, go 1 mile
Turn Right on Ackey Road, go a quarter mile or so to gravel lane on right, you'll see the lake.
At the corner of 349 and Beechwood Rd, there is a small store, Kim's Country Store, with friendly people and a small sandwich shop.

Does anyone have a contour map of this Lake. I have been looking around for a whil and can only find a general outline map. Any help would be great.

Oh about 7 hours. A bit much but my hometown is an hour and a half from there. So that is my western NY home base for fishing
